The IPRF Golf Outing started as an IPRA social event, and is now the largest fundraiser for the Illinois Park & Recreation Foundation. This year, 140 golfers representing over 30 park districts, forest preserves, and associations helped raise over $19,000! These funds fuel the scholarships, education, and programming the Foundation gives to IPRA members across the state.

2026 IPRF Golf Outing

The IPRF Golf Outing started as an IPRA social event, and is now the largest fundraiser for the Illinois Park & Recreation Foundation. This year, 140 golfers representing over 30 park districts, forest preserves, and associations helped raise over $19,000! "This achievement is a reflection of the generosity and commitment of everyone here today." - Tim Reinbold, IPRF Board Chair

The 2026 IPRF Golf Outing's success as a fundraiser aligns with increased Foundation activity in the fourth quarter. Scholarships are now available, for students and professionals, to register and attend the 2027 IAPD/IPRA Soaring to New Heights Conference, taking place January 28-30, 2027 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago!
