The Illinois Park & Recreation Foundation is making big plans in 2026 — starting with this very first edition of IPRF Quarterly Review, where we will share the Foundation's stories and success. This digital update is for IPRA members to keep current with Foundation programming, learn about the impact of our work, and find opportunities to support the Foundation.
Building on several years of success, the Foundation is poised to expand its programming to better support IPRA members and the profession as a whole. From offering more scholarships to students and professionals, to setting aside additional funds for disaster relief, to expanding our education and diversity programming,
This year the Foundation is already sponsoring several great IPRA programs. The ProConnect Mentorship Program, Diversity Education Institute, Skills Development Webinar Series, Professional Development School, and Parks 101 are all made possible with financial support from IPRF. The variety of programs supported are designed to help park, recreation, and conservation professionals at every stage of their career.
