Lunch & Learn: Wage & Hour Woes

Description

Employees working through lunch, salaried timekeeping requirements, the use of compensatory time, after-hours communication, and more create endless challenges for management. Join HR Source for an engaging, scenario-driven Lunch & Learn that tackles the those most common -- and risky -- wage and hour questions agencies face today. Using real-world examples for park, recreation, and conservation agencies, this session will provide clarity on compensable time, meal and rest breaks, overtime, timecard edits, bonuses, volunteers, unpaid internships, independent contractors, and recent Illinois-specific requirements.


Registration closes at 12:00 p.m. CST on Monday, June 22.

How to Participate: The event will take place live via Zoom Webinar. Participants will receive a Zoom join link after the registration deadline passes.
