IPRA is accepting applications for 2025 section board positions.  Ideal candidates should be motivated for a leadership opportunity that contributes to the realization of the association's strategic plan. All positions have a three (3) year term.

Eligible candidates must 1) be an active IPRA Professional or Professional Non-Metro Member, 2) be a member of the respective section for at least one year, and 3) have previously served as a Committee Chair or Section board member (includes service from another Section). CPRE, CPRP, or equivalent certification is preferred but not required to serve on a Section Board.

Did you know?  Certified Park & Recreation Professionals and Certified Park and Recreation Executives have an opportunity to earn Professional Service Experience (PSE) Credit through volunteer leadership with IPRA.  Together with the traditional CEU or academic credit, PSE credits enable individuals to renew professional certification by utilizing their professional activities.
