IPRA's Communications & Marketing (C&M) Section consists of park district professionals that either specialize or work in and around marketing, communications, graphic design, and sponsorship.  After the meeting we will have a presentation by Brian Pohl with Invex on "The Power of Push Notification".  If you are interested in joining the section or simply wish to attend for educational and networking purposes, you are encouraged to attend.

Session Description:  Does your Park District and/or fitness facility utilize an app? Does your District send push notifications? Does your app integrate with your website? If yes to any of these questions, how effective is your app and is it a powerful tool in your marketing toolbox? Brian Pohl, President and Founder of Invex Design will share his expertise during his presentation, “The Power of Push Notification.” Invex is seeing all clients - not just park districts struggling with when and how to use push notifications and set of app channels. Brian will provide tips and ways to best integrate push notifications as part of your District’s marketing and communications strategies.

2.  How to strategically integrate app pushes as part of your integrated marketing and communications mix
3.  Discover importance of targeted push notifications and other ways to utilize a District wide app
