IPRF Golf Outing

Description

The IPRF Golf Outing Registration for golfers is FULL.  If you wish to be added to the waitlist, click register, add your selection and then click the box "Add to Waitlist" for each golfer prior to checking out.  We are still accepting sponsors through August 11.

The annual IPRF Golf Outing is a great opportunity to enjoy a day of golf, fun, and networking! The proceeds from this event support the Illinois Park and Recreation Foundation’s programs including scholarships which assists students and professionals in the field of park and recreation, the Special Assistance and Disaster Relief Fund for members in need, and diversity, equity and inclusion training for IPRA professionals. Registration includes golf, cart, on course contests, awards, and a lunch.

Over the past decade IPRF has provided a total of $197,515.85 in scholarships, sponsorships, and special grants. 

Outing proceeds benefit Foundation programs such as:

• Continuing education scholarships and programs for students and professionals in the field of parks/recreation. During the past three years, IPRF provided over $34,000 in scholarships and $35,450 in educational opportunities sponsorships.
  
  
• Our Special Assistance & Disaster Relief Program provides financial assistance to IPRA members who have experienced a disaster related financial loss. In the past three years, IPRF expanded the program to provide $33,000 in relief funding for professionals who were adversely affected by job changes related to the pandemic.
  
  
• Financial support for IPRA’s nationally recognized diversity/equity/inclusion training for park and recreation staff.

Golf Group Assignments:  Signing up as a foursome will guarantee your group.  Signing up 2-3 golfers will guarantee those individuals will be placed in the same foursome upon assignment.  All foursomes will be assigned by the IPRF Golf Committee.

Sponsorship:  The last day to register and receive recognition on our signage & sponsor materials is August 11, 2024.  We welcome your registration after that date, and will work to include your company recognition as deadlines permit.

Cancellations: Refunds will be issued to requests received on or before September 1, 2024, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after September 1, 2024.

CEUs: Event is not approved for CEUs (Continuing Education Units are for certifications such as CPRE, CPRP, and CTRS).
