Lunch & Learn: Canada Geese in IL: Common Problems, Questions, and Solutions

Tuesday, April 28, 2026 (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (CDT)

Description

Between turf destruction, territorial attitudes, and unwelcome "gifts" left on our grass and sidewalk, the presence of protected Canadian geese disrupts park usage. Join Geese Chasers to hear tips and tricks for living side-by-side with our nosey neighbors while keeping parks clean and safe. Discover insights into their migration, recognize mating season and paternal aggression, navigate problems surrounding sick or dead geese, and more. Promote co-habitation with practical solutions and take flight with sharing newfound knowledge with constituents.
