On Saturday, July 12, people throughout Illinois are encouraged to “unplug” from technology and plug into: play, creativity, family, and adventure. Unplug Illinois promotes getting up and getting out, whether you go for a walk, play a sport, ride a bike, swim, or play on the playground, the possibilities are endless. In Bloomingdale, the Bloomingdale Park District will encourage folks to get out and experience the local parks and trails. Visit us at Circle Park for Popsicles in the Park for an abundance of outdoor fun. Register your family members by July 10 and receive a one-day pass/person to the Oasis Water Park for use during Unplug weekend. Activities are free, and everyone receives a popsicle. This event is weather permitting. Drop-ins are welcome.
