I am a product of parks and recreation.  As a child participating in the many programs before starting in a part-time capacity in May, 1982.  In May, 1990 I began working for the department in a full time capacity leading park maintenance, recreation sports, and new programs.  In 1996 I became the Director of Parks and Rec. and have been diligent about maintaining existing facilities and legacy services while being cognizant of introducing new, trendy experiences to the citizens and guests to the community. Much of the success is due in large part to philanthropists, volunteers, and a team of individuals that share a passion for serving.
