IPRA's Administration & Finance (A&F) Section consists of park district professionals that either specialize or work in and around administration, finance, human resources, information technology, registration services, and/or risk management. If you are interested in joining the A&F Section or simply wish to attend for educational and networking purposes, you are encouraged to register.

10:00 am:  A&F Section Board Meeting (also available via Zoom)
11:00am:  Presentation of "Addressing Employee Mental Health Conditions" with Kevin Noll
12:00pm:  Holiday Luncheon

Presentation Details:  Properly addressing employee mental health conditions can be a delicate process.  This presentation will provide information on the prevalence of mental health issues in the workplace and strategies for addressing these issues.

Learning Objectives:
1.  The employer's response obligations for addressing mental health conditions in the workplace.
2.  How to properly assess requests for leaves of absences for mental health conditions to ensure legal compliance under the FMLA and ADA.
3.  How to avoid common pitfalls related to employees' requests for accommodations.

Virtual Attendance Option:  Only the Administration & Finance Section Board Meeting will be shared on Zoom. All other portions of this event are in-person only.  Links will be sent out to all registrants November 30.
