IPRA's Administration & Finance (A&F) Section consists of park district professionals that either specialize or work in and around administration, finance, human resources, information technology, registration services, and/or risk management. If you are interested in joining the A&F Section or simply wish to attend for educational and networking purposes, you are encouraged to register.

Timeline:
11:30 am:  A&F Section Board Meeting
12:00pm:  Holiday Luncheon
1:00pm:  Presentation of Succession Planning by Dr. June N. Price Shingles

Presentation Details: This session will briefly explore Succession Planning and the development of competencies of junior staff to prepare them for transition from program staff to management. We will also explore program adaptations agencies should consider to meet current needs of residents, especially youth.

Learning Objectives:
1.  Participants will discover how to apply the 40 Developmental Assets in application to new program design.
2.  Participants will learn techniques on how to cultivate seasonal and junior staff
3.  Participants will develop a strategy for employee retention

CEUs:  Event is approved for 0.1 CEUs and will only be awarded to members in live attendance for a minimum of 45 minutes (Continuing Education Units are for certifications such as CPRE, CPRP, CTRS).
