Located within IPRA's Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Section, the Day Camp Committee consists of a group of professionals that either specialize or work in and around camps at special recreation agencies. This event will consist of a presentation by Lauren Maki.  If you are interested in joining the committee or simply wish to attend for educational and networking purposes, you are encouraged to register.

Presentation Details:  Presentation for new and existing site supervisors to go over topics such as planning daily activities, budgeting for camp, behavior management techniques, and managing staff members.

Learning Objectives:

• Provide organization methods for planning camp activities and budgeting
• Provide behavior management techniques to be used at camp
• Provide techniques on how to manage staff members and delegate responsibilities

CEUs: Event is approved for 0.1 CEUs and will only be awarded to members in live attendance for a minimum of 45 minutes (Continuing Education Units are for certifications such as CTRS, CPRE and CPRP certification).
