Sponsored by IPRA's Facility Management (FM) Section, Facility Management Workshop is a unique hybrid event designed to provide practitioners of all experience levels a curriculum that identifies tools to become a better facility manager and enhance operational efficiencies at various facilities. The 7th annual event will include the keynote, Trauma Informed Customer Service, presented by Tracey Crawford (NWSRA), and a track of sessions featuring respected industry practitioners presenting on topics such as capital planning, aquatics, safety trainings for staff, green practices for facilities, preventative maintenance, and membership promotions. Come build your network and join other professionals aspiring to improve their facility management skills. This event is generously sponsored by the Illinois Park and Recreation Foundation (IPRF).

Who Should Attend: Park and recreation, conservation, and forest preserve district professionals that oversee facilities and are looking to enhance their foundational knowledge of facility management.

Virtual Track: Virtual attendees will have access to the keynote presentation, Trauma Informed Customer Service, as well as three general sessions: Capital Planning, Creative Safety Trainings, and Membership Drives and Promotions. Virtual registration does not include lunch.

How To Participate Virtually: The virtual track will take place live via Zoom Webinar - no recordings will be available after the event. Upon registering for the event with IPRA, participants will be emailed an invitation from Zoom with a unique join link before the event.

Live Transcriptions: Live transcriptions are available to virtual participants.

CEUs: Virtual and in-person tracks each approved for 0.4 CEUs and will be awarded to those in attendance for at least 45 minutes each session. Continuing Education Units are for certifications such as CPRE, CPRP, and CTRS.
