Located within IPRA's Recreation (REC) Section, the Nature Committee consists of a group of professionals that specialize or work in and around nature centers and nature programming. Don't work at a nature center? Don't worry, we still have so much to offer to any program working to include nature into its recreational offerings.  If you are interested in joining the committee or simply wish to attend for educational and networking purposes, you are encouraged to register.

Join us for a Nature Committee Meeting and Winter Soiree, celebrating this year’s achievements in conservation and community engagement. Reflect on milestones, network, plan for the seasons ahead, and enjoy refreshments in a cozy atmosphere.  Let’s toast to a year of success and the inspiring work to come! 

Timeline:

11:30am: Nature Committee Meeting (Trends for 2025, Effective ways to inspire people to care about nature, how to balance generating profits with providing education, volunteers)
12:30pm: Lunch (Provided free of charge)
1:00pm: Tour and networking
