Description

The first of five events in the 2026 ProConnect Mentorship Program invites both Mentors and Mentees to kick off their mentoring adventure in true parks, recreation, and conservation style. 

Think of this session as the trailhead where your journey begins. Mentors will gain essential skills to guide, support, and empower their mentees through practical tools, real-world scenarios, and interactive discussions focused on building strong relationships, setting goals, and providing constructive feedback. Mentees will learn how to chart their course by clarifying personal and professional goals, understanding expectations, strengthening communication skills, and preparing to actively engage with their triad over the coming months. 

By the end of the session, participants will feel energized, connected, and ready to hit the trail toward a meaningful and successful mentoring partnership within the ProConnect community.
