Description

IPRA's Recreation (REC) Section consists of professionals that either specialize or work in and around athletics, special events, seniors, teens, early childhood, and camps.  The Board Meeting will mainly consist of reports from the Section Board and each committee Chair, and an IPRA liaison will be in attendance to provide updates to the membership about news and events happening within the association.  All REC Section Committees will hold meetings before or after the lunch and the REC Section meeting. If you are interested in joining the section or simply wish to attend for educational and networking purposes, you are encouraged to register.

Event Timeline:
10:30am:  Athletics, Early Childhood, Seniors, and Teen Meetings
12:15pm:  Lunch and Recreation Section Board Meeting
1:30pm:  Cultural Arts, Nature, School Age Committee, and Special Events Meetings

Lunch:  Paid lunch is a Jimmy John's sandwich box including a sandwich, chips, a pickle spear, and a cookie.  Sandwich modifications will also be available for those who are gluten free, dairy free, and vegan.  Those not ordering lunch are welcome to BYO.

CEUs: Event is not approved for CEUs (Continuing Education Units are for certifications such as CTRS, CPRE and CPRP certification).
