Sponsored by IPRA's Facility Management (FM) Section, Facility Management Workshop is a unique program designed to provide practitioners of all experience levels a curriculum that identifies tools to become a better facility manager and enhance operational efficiencies at various facilities. This 8th annual program will include the keynote, Ready, Set, Go - Developing Our Future Leaders, presented by Carrie Fullerton (Arlington Heights Park District), and a track of sessions featuring respected industry practitioners presenting on topics such as artificial intelligence, personal growth, message-based communications, transitioning to a managerial role, sustainability, and programming in non-traditional facilities. Come build your network and join other professionals aspiring to improve their facility management skills.

Who Should Attend: Park and recreation, conservation, and forest preserve district professionals that oversee facilities and are looking to enhance their foundational knowledge of facility management.

Deadline to Register: Monday, September 30, 2024

Food / Beverage: Registration includes morning coffee, light breakfast and lunch.

Post-Event Social: Attendees are invited to attend a social near the rec center after the program. Location to be announced on-site.

CEUs: Program is approved for 0.4 CEUs and will be awarded to those in attendance for at least 45 minutes each session. Continuing Education Units are for certifications such as CPRE, CPRP, and CTRS.
