The inaugural HR Symposium will be held at the Carol Stream Park District’s Fountain View Recreation Center on Friday, September 20.  This symposium presents a unique opportunity for professionals in the Parks, Recreation, and Conservation field to enrich their knowledge and skills in human resources management. Whether you're a seasoned HR expert or new to the field, this event promises insights and resources to further develop your role within the HR department of your respective agency.  We aim to equip attendees with resources to enhance their contribution and participation within the HR sphere of their organizations. 

In addition to enriching presentations, the event will feature a Vendor Expo, bustling with businesses and resources tailored for HR professionals seeking to elevate their agency's HR practices.

Deadline/Cancellations:  The Registration deadline is September 8.  Refunds will be issued to requests received on or before September 8 less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after that date.

CEUs:  This program has been approved for 0.4 CEUs that can be applied towards CPRP and CPRE Certifications.

HRCI Credit Hours: This program has been pre-approved for 4 CHs toward aPHR®, aPHRi™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®). The content of the program submitted has met the criteria for Recertification Provider Program.

SHRM Professional Development Credits: This program is valid for 4 PDCs for the SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP®.
